Nestmate Disclaimer

Effective date:

Nestmate helps adult caregivers organize information and understand patterns. It is not a healthcare provider, emergency service, or substitute for qualified professional judgment.

In an emergency, do not use or wait for Nestmate. Contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

1. No medical or professional advice

Nestmate is not a medical device and does not diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, treat, or cure disease. Content, reminders, schedules, reports, measurements, percentiles, trends, educational materials, and AI-assisted responses are provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.

They do not replace advice, examination, diagnosis, or treatment from a pediatrician, physician, nurse, dietitian, mental-health professional, pharmacist, or other qualified professional who understands the child’s circumstances.

2. Do not delay care

Never ignore professional advice, delay seeking care, stop treatment, change medication, or make a feeding, sleep-safety, temperature, growth, or other health decision solely because of Nestmate content. Always follow instructions from qualified professionals and official health authorities.

3. Emergency situations

Nestmate does not monitor records in real time and cannot identify or respond to emergencies. If a child has difficulty breathing, is unresponsive, has a seizure, may have been poisoned, has a serious injury, shows signs of severe dehydration or another urgent condition, or if you otherwise believe immediate help is needed, contact local emergency services or seek urgent medical care.

4. AI-assisted content

AI-generated or AI-assisted content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or unsuitable for a particular child. It may misunderstand a prompt, omit relevant context, or produce a confident-sounding error. A qualified professional has not necessarily reviewed an individual response. Verify important information independently and do not use AI output as the sole basis for a health or safety decision.

5. Caregiver-entered data and calculations

Nestmate depends on the information caregivers enter and on the availability of devices and third-party services. Incorrect units, dates, times, measurements, profiles, or records can produce incorrect summaries or recommendations. Calculations and reports may use general reference data that does not account for prematurity, medical history, individual development, clinician adjustments, or other relevant factors.

6. Reminders and notifications

Notifications may be delayed, duplicated, suppressed, or not delivered because of device settings, connectivity, platform restrictions, battery optimization, or service interruption. Do not rely on Nestmate as the only reminder for medication, feeding, supervision, appointments, urgent care, or any safety-critical task.

7. No professional relationship

Using Nestmate, purchasing a plan, receiving a report, or interacting with an AI-assisted feature does not create a doctor-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-client, legal, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

8. Your responsibility

You are responsible for evaluating the information provided, supervising the child, using age-appropriate and safe practices, and consulting qualified professionals. Where caregivers disagree or records conflict, verify the underlying information before acting.

9. Third-party information

Links, references, app-store materials, and third-party content are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse every third-party statement and do not guarantee its availability, accuracy, or suitability.

10. Related terms

Your use of Nestmate is also governed by the Terms of Use, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
